About

Stephanie Dornan

I started my career practicing law in London but have always been interested in the benefits of alternative medicine having received acupuncture since I was a toddler. A few years ago, I decided to take my interest further by undertaking a degree to qualify as an acupuncturist.

I trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in the UK where I completed 3,500+ hours of training and was awarded a first-class BSc Honours degree in Acupuncture. My training was ‘Integrated’ and combines both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture styles.

I am accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) and am a professional member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association of Ireland (AFPA) and the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). As a member of these professional bodies I am fully qualified and registered, hold Professional Indemnity Insurance and am committed to abiding by strict codes of ethics and safe practice.

I regularly attend conferences and courses to continue my professional development, including post-graduate study in obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility, Master Tung's acupuncture and Dr Tan's Balance Method acupuncture. I am also a qualified First Aider.
